I’m slightly delayed with this post, but it’s still relevant nonetheless!

If you’re involved with the military, then you most likely have heard of the USO. It’s a great organization that helps support military members and their families.
In the past, I’ve used a great FREE photo album program to put together something for my husband when he was stationed overseas. (I talk about it here.)
Fort Belvoir has an amazing USO facility that I feel so lucky to utilize. When my parents came to visit, we took a tour of the building. They offer amazing programs (for example, zumba, yoga, therapy art, music, etc.) to active duty, wounded warriors and their families. The whole area is Wi-Fi equipped, so I’ve been meaning to work off-site there someday. I just absolutely love the grounds.
The Fort Belvoir facility is apart of the USO Metro group. The USO Metro also has lottery tickets available to Washington D.C. area sports teams. I receive the emails and enter for my husband and myself. This past weekend, we won tickets to see the Redskin game. I was super pumped to go.
On Sunday, we took the Metro to FedEx Field. Overall, it was a terrific game.
There are USOs everywhere, pretty much where there is military, there is USO presence. In airports. Or big cities (NYC’s USO is located in Port Authority). At military installations. Check out your local USO!
